Ok, that took some work and I may have lost all of the original posts

Problem really started when I decided that I could use an older junker computer as the webserver.  Don’t get me wrong, it worked and everything, but it was slow and it didn’t have lots of space.  And, after a power outage while I was in Indianapolis, the system just pooched.

A bit of spit, gum and ducttape and it would have worked, don’t get me wrong, but it just wasn’t worth the effort.  I had a machine sitting here that I had intended on using for that from the start, so what the heck!

It didn’t take that long to get the machine up and running.  Set up the webserver, wiki, bugzilla in a snap.  Installing wordpress was more of a pain, but that was because I tried using the default ubuntu version instead of just running from source.

Going from source and it took under 5 minutes from downloading the file through to writing this post.

But, it’s a work day, and I’m done posting for now.  I’ll have to do all the pretty modifications later so that it isn’t so damned bland.
