Blah, blah, blah. This is definitely a blah day.
I just can’t seem to get interested in much today other than reading my book and doing some thinking about performance evaluations at work. I spend a bunch of time each year just staring into space looking for the wording that comes out at this time of year to evaluate folks over the past 12 months, and plan the goals for the next 12. Of course I’ve already done the evaluations for the past year, now I just need to have the chat with folks. And, of course, I have to go through my own performance evaluation and figure out my own goals for the next year. heh, the ones that don’t involve Swim, Bike or Run.
I’m hoping that my leg is good tomorrow on the run, and I’m hoping that it holds up for the Sunday long run as well. I’m really going to go for mellow tomorrow, just pace through and focus on my long, slow speed. That is, of course, what the weekend is for
If my calf is painful tomorrow I’m going to have to take Sunday off and relax things for a few days. Stay on the bike or in the pool only
Nutrition held no surprises for me today. I think I need to create a sign across the vending machine reading “Verboten!”. That might help when I feel like a chocolate bar or a bag of Cheetos. Another one on the pop cooler wouldn’t hurt either… hmmmm.
Also, it’s clear that I’m not eating enough in the breakfast. I shouldn’t be as hungry as I am before lunch. I’ll play with this next week and see if it helps.
Breakfast:
- Vector with yogurt
Snack (0):
- Small bag of Cheetos
Lunch:
- Pepper steak slices over rice with side salad (caeser)
Snack (1):
- Can of Coke
- Wonderbar
Snack (2):
- Can of Coke (noticing a trend?)
Dinner:
- Pork, potatoes and corn (2 plates, I was hungry for no good reason, and way stuffed afterwards).
