On a side note, 29 weeks seems like a LOT less than 30 weeks. Just saying.
My legs are a bit heavy today. The weekend wasn’t overly hard (30km of running, 1.6km swimming) compared to others. In fact last week was my lowest week of the month. I think it was just the whole month backing up on me.
Busy day today at work followed by a busy night of running around. Of course I managed to accidentally screw up an arranged meeting with a couple of the guys which I had in my calendar as for next week. That’s twice lately, I clearly need a better organization system.
I’m booked for the UBC Tri in May. In a way, even this short triathlon makes Ironman seem that much closer. For some reason in my head an Olympic distance is harder than a Half Iron. Of course this isn’t the case in reality, it just seems that way.
Nutrition today… good mixed with junk food. I’ll keep the better parts for tomorrow and skip on the junk food I think
Breakfast:
- 2 eggs scrambled with cheese
Snack (0):
- really small bowl of ice cream (it was an treat for the office, I didn’t go searching it out)
- Orange (an actual orange… how cool is that?)
Lunch:
- Bowl of left-over Cowboy Pie.
- 2 really small bowls of ice cream
Snack (1):
- small yogurt
Dinner:
- Bowl of left-over Cowboy Pie
- Small bowl of chips (left-over from kids)
Snack (2):
- 1/2 shared large Aero bar (M and I shared one, isn’t that cute?)
Snack (3):
- Gummy Candies (shared with M, again, aren’t we cute?)
